What A Great Friday Night

Dave and I spent our Friday night with Leo. When we got there, we just sat and watched Leo. He grabbed his oxygen tube and pulled it out a couple of times, but I helped him put it back in. After that Leo got to snuggle with me for a long while and we both took a good nap. Then came cares. Well, they didn't go as smoothly as planned...first, Leo had a large amount of spit up that got all over his bedding and inside his oxygen tube, which then had to be suctioned out of his nose and mouth. Needless to say, he was not happy. The oxygen tube had to then be replaced because it got messy from the spit up. While the nurse was changing that, Leo decided to pull out his feeding tube. So, then the nurse had to put a new feeding tube through his nose down to his belly. Leo also didn't like this. I did learn his lungs are strengthening because his little whimper was more of a cry during this whole process. After all was done, Leo was so content. He gave us a little awake time and then went to sleep. It was an eventful evening in Leo's world! :)

The first couple pictures are of Leo going to sleep and the other picture is of Leo without his oxygen on, look at his cute little nose!
